South Windermere Sailing Club is situated at the quiet end of the lake, offering beautiful mountain views.

The club is at Fell Foot in the National Trust Park, on the Bowness road half a mile north of Newby Bridge.

Interesting winds!


Lake Windermere is the longest lake in England at 101/2 miles long. Width varies up to 1 mile.
Pleasant sailing with "interesting" winds coming off the surrounding hills.
